ResMi Pass is a relationship declaration created for couples who travel and stay together. Clear relationship information, linked to the trip

ResMi Pass states that you are travelling as a couple and sets out the relationship status you declare. It also connects those details to your journey by recording the destination or destinations for the trip. This makes the document suitable for use across different types of accommodation, particularly when a host or reception team asks for clarification before two people stay together.

What ResMi Pass includes

The document records details for both individuals, including first and last name, date of birth, email address and phone number. It also includes identification information in the form of a passport number or national ID number. ResMi Pass states the destination(s) and your relationship status (for example, married, cohabiting, or engaged), and can also include the date the relationship began.

Signatures and witness verification

ResMi Pass is signed by both individuals in the relationship. Two witnesses aged 18 or over also sign the document to confirm that they have verified the couple’s signatures. This creates a clear, documented record of the signing.

Where it may be presented

ResMi Pass can be presented when requested by hotels, aparthotels, resorts, short-term rentals such as Airbnb, and other accommodation providers. It may also be useful in broader travel contexts where relationship status needs to be stated as part of administrative requirements.

Traveller responsibility and local requirements

Travellers are responsible for checking the rules and documentation requirements for their destination and trip, including entry requirements, stay conditions and accommodation rules. ResMi Pass is used as a complement in these contexts and should include only information relevant to the trip.
